The Nursing Education Research and Development in close collaboration with Newborn and Pediatric Services supported Marikina Valley Medical Center in conducting their 1st Pediatric Care Training Program. The initiative aims to train thirty (30) MPH Nurses to confidently handle pediatric population. Ms. Ma. Victoria Semitara, RN (Charge Nurse, Neonatal ICU) facilitated the session on pediatric client assessment while Ms. Tara Michelle Ramos, RN (Registered Nurse, 5th Circular) facilitated the Nursing Protocols and Care Plan in Pediatric Cases. Both sessions are delivered by Zoom video conferencing followed by MVMC in-house pediatric consultant training the nurses on-site.
